Veneto is the region of Venice and its countryside boasts a wealth of grand villas with stunning gardens. These were (and some still are) the villas owned by rich Venetian aristocrats and here is where they retired for their ‘vacanze’. Many of the villas we visit were designed by Andrea Palladio, one of the most influential individuals in the history of Western architecture.

Join us as we discover some of the best Palladian Villas. The first on our tour is one of the most recognisable buildings of the Renaissance the Palladian Masterpiece, Villa Rotonda. The UNESCO World Heritage Site was designed for elegant entertainment, and is definitely one for art lovers — lavishly decorated with stucco and frescos
